Die Einzelteile fungieren „als Indikatoren, die auf Naturhaftes verweisen“.Inspiriert wurde sie von einer fernöstlichen Sichtweise auf Natur: „Japanische Gärten zeichnen sich oft durch radikale Einschnitte in die Natur“ aus, erklärt sie, die in unseren Augen fast schon „brutal“ erscheinen, „die aber eine Kraft haben, die mir gefällt“. So ein kultureller Eingriff ins Vorhandene sei ja auch das Schneiden in die Linolplatte, was ja auch bei der Herstellung einer Druckgrafik vonstatten geht – Jennifer Königs Hauptmetier. Dabei experimentiert sie mit verschiedenen Techniken, vermischt unter anderem in mehreren Druckvorgängen Hoch- und Tiefdruck.
